Lo acompañan su amigo Taurus, también íbero, y su novia Claudia, una noble romana. Más adelante se une el estrafalario poeta Fideo de Mileto.
En 1958, cuando los quioscos estaban llenos de historietas, nació esta colección. Muy pronto se convirtió en una de las más populares del cómic español.
Las aventuras de este héroe íbero contra el Imperio Romano marcaron historia. Su éxito fue tal que sigue siendo un referente del cómic de aventuras.
La edición, disponible en Comics Barcelona, incluye Esclavos de Roma y las portadas míticas de Antonio Bernal. También añade contenidos exclusivos para los fans.
El Jabato es un personaje de cómic español creado en 1958 por Víctor Mora y dibujado por Francisco Darnís. Es un guerrero íbero que lucha contra la opresión romana.
A diferencia de El Capitán Trueno, El Jabato vive en la época de la dominación romana. Sus aventuras combinan acción, historia y valores como la justicia y la libertad.
Junto a su amigo Taurus y su amada Claudia, enfrenta a villanos y vive peligrosas misiones. Su éxito lo convirtió en un clásico del cómic español.
El Jabato sigue siendo un referente en la historieta de aventuras en España.
